Although the craft is not a simple one, it is shown step by step in this book to give the reader a good idea of how to obtain good results. It would be good to know up front that the craft requires handmade paper to achieve the results depicted in the book. Handmade paper makes the craft less affordable and a tad more difficult than one might originally think. The projects shown in the book, though, are definitely worth the effort. The animals are adorable and lifelike an sure to be a hit with anybody who might receive them as a gift. This is the most innovative new paper craft I've seen in a long time. The animals don't always work out the first time, but they are fun to try and even in practice, I learn something new about them every time! Give them a try. Doesn't everybody need something to do with those rocks the kids bring home from vacation!"
